Meet the author
Edwin Kime was born and raised on a farm in the southwest corner of Missour, one mile from the Kansas state line.
While working in Phoenix he was about to be drafted when he joined the Seabee's. He was sent to Viet Nam in 1968 and stationed at a base camp beside the 101 Airborne camp just south of Hue.
It is a true international love story but much more it has history, mystery, travel, and a outsiders looks into the international scene.

The story begins with Edwin traveling to Thailand to reconnect with a Thai friend whom he'd met in Viet-Nam. Adventures unravel in Thailand, and though he cannot seem to locate his friend, he does meet and fall in love with his future wife. Between his job and his travels, some time passes and many obstacles arise in his attempts to reunite with his love and marry her. The story is one of travel, culture, history and much more.
